Hello! I`m still in Madrid πͺπΈ This is me enjoying a launderette - why are mundane things so much more exciting when you`re abroad? Feeling tired, alive, and happy - my friends surgery went really well and they`re recovering so great π. I`ve been working on some freelance bits, eating nice food, and exploring when I can - yesterday I braved the world famous El Rastro flea market - and took this photo of a noble elder lady trying out an antique chair. Hellooo. I wanted to wish you a festive lovely time and also send lots of love during the build up to Christmas. It can be such a tricky time for so many. I hope that you have friends/ family /chosen family/pets to support you. Be gentle with yourselves. I, for one need a rest - it`s carnage out thereβ‘οΈ π and in here π§ π
Also, speaking of chosen fam, just wanted to highlight that I`ll be away in Spain during the first few weeks of January supporting a loved one, while they get gender affirming care. I wanted to highlight this not to pat myself on the back (I`ll literally just be feeding them snacks and visiting art galleries) but because the gov ban on puberty blockers is fucked, and depressing, and I think it`s worth highlighting *everytime* a trans or non binary person gets the care they so need and deserve. I`m so excited for my friend. π₯³
So allll this is to say, if you want a tattoo in the new year you`ll need to book for February onwards! Please do DO that, because I will have definitely spent all my money on tapas.
