We had the absolute privilege of having @_nattenborough paint us the most beautiful mural in our garden this week. Our garden backs on to a little woods - the woods are my favourite place, so the brief was native woodland plants and Nat absolutely smashed it.

She even popped some little blackberries in there for my monkey gone by, who couldn’t resist a chomp on our walks 😭

I love bugs. You love bugs. You don’t always want bugs on your skin, I get it. Maybe sometimes you even make me remove bugs from your drawings because you asked for a daisy and I hid a slug on its leaf. It’s fine, we’re all friends here.

One of my absolute favourite birds, if you’ve been in to the studio you will have seen one I painted on the wall so I could look at it from my chair. I have one that graces my garden, and they also penetrate my dreams. I loved making this.

*Not sure why all that religious imagery ended up in my first sentence , and I will unpack it later.
