  • Workshop.
Super cute little sewing cafe in Leeds, literally across the road from us! We love it in here – their cakes will make you cry, and they cater for vegans too. It’s well worth checking out their workshops, as they always have super fun stuff on!
  • The Cats Pyjamas.
Another one just a few doors down – excellent beer, and excellent food for a post-tattoo pick me up.
  • Tandem.
We love Tandem. They offer the perfect brunches and lunches. Their soups are amazing, and it always smells like fresh bakes.
It’s about a ten minute walk from where we are, but worth it.
  • Alfred.
This is part of the North Bar family, and you will – quite literally – always find us in here. Very good beer, great coffee, and amazing folks behind the bar, with very good taste.
  • The Bowery.
Another one just down the road! Always worth popping in for a coffee and a browse, as they stock wonderful handmade bits from local makers.
  • Arcadia.
Delicious beer and cosy surrounds, like, a 2 minute walk away from the studio.
  • I Am Döner.
Erm. Vegan kebabs. It’s about 5 shops down from us and keeps us nourished. It will nourish you too.
  • JJ’s Vish & Chips.
Just order Vish & Chips, with a side of fried pickles.
This place is entirely vegan and entirely delicious.
  • Sebby’s Deli.
Sebby’s is our go-to for brunch. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the studio, and has a really lovely, relaxed vibe. We always go for the veggie full english – their Glamorgan sausages are literally the best.
  • Doh-hut.
Donuts. Filled. Do yourself a favour and grab a box for the journey home. Doh-hut aren’t vegan, but Dukes are. They’re both about 10 minutes away.
  • Jinos Thai.
    BYOB, with delicious authentic thai.
  • Wildcraft Bakery.
Gluten free and often vegan bakery, about a 10 minute walk away. Their whoopie pies are vegan, and amazing, and you can sit in and enjoy with a coffee.
  • Ecco Pizzeria.
One word: F-l-o-r-e-n-t-i-n-e. Green beans on a pizza, am i right? Just go get some.

Shopping.

  • The Green Yard
Just behind our studio, nestled inside of Headingley Heart, is The Green Yard. If you can’t resist green, then go check out their indoor/outdoor plants, spilling out of their shed-cum-shop.
  • Beer Ritz.
Do not go home without swinging by Beer Ritz. They stock the best beers. The staff are amazing and know so much. Just give them your fave beer and they’ll find you something to contend it. Really just worth it for a browse, if you’re like me and love looking at how beautiful cans are these days.
  • The c-h-a-r-i-t-y shops
Headingley is famous for its charity shopping! We’re next door to THE BEST Oxfam, and there’s loads of vintage stores near by. There’s a Sue Ryder, like, 30 seconds away that specialises in vintage & retro homewares and stuff. Just wander up and down Otley Road.
  • Flavour like Fancy.
Just tell Natasha we sent you! You might spot our work in here, but there’s so much more than that! Thoughtfully created, beautiful things made by indie artists, you will lose hours in here.
  • Colours May Vary.
Another one that you sort of need to plan your day around, ‘cos you’ll find it hard to leave. Indie bookshop with just, a vast sea of beautifully designed publications and illustrated wares.
  • Village Bookshop.
This tiny little bookshop and gallery is everything. I have to avoid Village a lot of the time, because i find it hard to not pick up everything. It is beautiful, curated to perfection, and they serve you coffee…
